Explore The Grampians

Get out of doors and explore the natural beauty of the Grampians. View the surrounding landscape from a scenic lookout, follow a trail to MacKenzie Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the state, see wildflowers or the spectacular rock formations of the Grampians National Park. All are easily accessible by foot or car.

Between Dadswell Bridge in the North and Dunkeld in the South, the four mountain ranges of this Park comprise some of the most impressive natural scenery in Victoria and one of the most significant Aboriginal rock art locations in the country.

Colourful wildflowers are outstanding among the almost 900 native plant species of the ranges, many of them unique to the area

Our Guests Love Us

Great Staff

The place has been recently bought over from previous owners and they work really hard to accommodate all the guests during their first long weekend period. I really like the staff and the property that we camped in.
Lots to do... tennis, swimming pool, they have working toilets and hot showers, a kids playground and even event nights.
Something to do for the whole family!!
See y'all next time!
....soon😀

Friendly & Accommodating Owners

The kids and I loved our time at the Happy Wanderer.
We stayed in the executive cabin which has a great layout and everything you need for when you need a home away from home.
Pool was clean everyday we went swimming.
We enjoyed watching all the animals that came to the Park including the kangaroo's and lots of native birds.
The new owners are so very friendly and accommodating.
We will sure be back for our next getaway..

Wildlife at your door

WOW.. underestimated this place, the owners were fantastic, polite, and welcoming. You can't go wrong here the prices are affordable and the cabins are ideal for a family getaway or just a little getaway with the other half.
The views are amazing with the Grampians and wildlife literally at your door. You may need your own bedding etc, but with the price being so affordable who is to complain. Planning a family reunion as soon as its possible to do so.
This place will be ideal and will sure become our new favourite getaway, without all the tourists, I can't wait to return with my kids.

Peaceful Location

Was only going to stay 3 days but will end up staying 7. The new owners are fantastic, so very friendly and helpful. Park is only 35 mins from either Horsham or Halls Gap.
We had a power site with ensuite. Can have a fire and lots of wild life around. The park is rustic and needs some work done on it, but don't let this stop you from staying here.
The new owners Jill n Phil have great plans afoot to make this park really nice. The park has got log cabins with a fire place in them for cosy warm night. Great views of The Grampians. Would we come back OH YES. So very peaceful.
